HOW DOES AN ELECTRONIC EXHAUST WORK?
Torqit’s Electronic Exhaust is a sound actuator inside tough steel housing, which mounts to the bottom of your vehicle. You can choose one actuator or two – we recommend two for the best sound result.
The Electronic Exhaust receives real-time data from the vehicle’s ECU via an OBD-II adaptor, which transmits the data wirelessly via Bluetooth to the integrated audio amplifier. The actuator then reproduces exhaust noise, automatically adjusting to your real-time acceleration and load.
Control the Electronic Exhaust via Torqit’s Bluetooth Connect App, which lets you adjust the volume, tone, pitch, RPM, activate special effects and more. Once installed, you can also control the Electronic Exhaust with a provided remote control key fob.

Torqit’s 300 Series Electronic Exhaust is a DIY upgrade. It tucks up under the chassis rail with supplied brackets, hiding it from view. Alternatively, you can have it fitted at your closest Torqit dealer, with an extensive network available Australia-wide.

What sound files are available?
Torqit’s Electronic Exhaust comes with eight sound profiles, covering various vehicles such as a 4 Cylinder Boxer, a V6 Turbo, a V8 Muscle car, and even a V12 Supercar. You can adjust settings such as tone, pitch, RPM, and volume from these eight sound profiles, and add special effects such as misfires and crackles for a personalised note. The sound files are professionally recorded in real-time from vehicles on an acoustic test bench, and adapt to your vehicle’s speed and parameters for a 100% realistic exhaust note.
Will Torqit’s Electronic Exhaust affect my vehicle’s warranty or safety?
Torqit’s Electronic Exhaust does not void the factory warranty as it does not alter your vehicle’s original electronics and is entirely separate from your exhaust system. A waterproof and dustproof steel housing protects the actuator, so there is no risk of damage regardless of driving conditions.
Will Torqit’s Electronic Exhaust work with my standard exhaust system?
As the Electronic Exhaust is a separate upgrade, it does not change how your existing exhaust system (Torqit or stock) sounds, fits or performs. Once you switch off the Electronic Exhaust, you will hear your vehicle’s existing exhaust as usual.
