TURBO BACK PERFORMANCE EXHAUST SYSTEM
The Torqit Turbo Back Performance Exhaust is the ultimate exhaust upgrade for your Ford Ranger PXII/PXIII (08/2016… ). Whether you’re touring, towing or tackling tough tracks, Torqit’s extensive research and development delivers a combination of sound, performance and quality construction built for Australian conditions.
Bolting to the outlet of the turbo and continuing to the rear of the vehicle, our turbo back systems are designed to improve exhaust flow and produce a deeper exhaust note. Manufactured from 304 grade stainless steel with tubing up to 2mm thick, with a Titanium-Coated 304-Grade Stainless Steel dump pipe, they combine durable construction with mandrel bends to maintain smooth, consistent flow throughout the system.
Laser-cut stainless steel flanges are TIG welded internally and externally for additional strength, helping the system withstand the demands of heavy-duty off-roading. A brushed stainless steel finish completes the package, delivering an appearance that matches the quality of its construction.
Muffler options are available on selected systems to provide a more controlled exhaust note.

Thick Stainless Steel
An exhaust system is exposed to extreme heat, vibration and rough terrain. Torqit uses stainless steel tubing up to 2mm thick to provide strength and durability in these demanding conditions.
Tubing thickness also contributes to the character of an exhaust’s sound. Torqit’s thick stainless steel construction helps produce a deep, solid note while reducing the thin, tinny sound associated with lighter tubing.

304 Grade Stainless Steel
Torqit Performance Exhausts use 304 grade stainless steel for its strength, corrosion resistance and durability. Its chromium and nickel content provides excellent resistance to rust, helping the system withstand exposure to moisture, mud and harsh environments.
Compared with the 409 grade stainless steel commonly used in the automotive industry, 304 offers greater corrosion resistance. This makes it particularly well suited to vehicles used for water crossings, boat launching and coastal driving.

Internal & External Welds
Quality welds help prevent exhaust leaks and reduce the risk of cracks developing at joins. Torqit’s exhaust flanges are TIG welded internally and externally to reinforce these connection points.
TIG welding allows precise control over each weld, producing strong joins and a clean finish without welding spatter. Although more time consuming than other production methods, it is an essential part of Torqit’s approach to exhaust quality.
Mandrel Bent System
Mandrel bending supports the tubing internally as it is shaped, helping prevent crinkling and flattening through each bend. This maintains a consistent internal diameter, allowing exhaust gases to flow with fewer restrictions.
Torqit’s in-house mandrel bending process produces accurately shaped sections that follow the intended exhaust path while maintaining the integrity of the tubing. Precision programming also provides consistent manufacturing and vehicle-specific fitment.

Titanium Coated Dump Pipes
Available on selected systems, Torqit’s titanium coated dump pipes provide a distinctive finish designed to withstand the high temperatures experienced at the turbo outlet.
The coating offers heat and corrosion resistance, while its initial blue colour can develop a rainbow-like appearance through exposure to exhaust heat.
High Flow Catalytic Converter
Where included, a high flow catalytic converter allows exhaust gases to pass through a less restrictive catalyst structure while retaining catalytic treatment of the exhaust gases.
Improved flow helps reduce restriction within the exhaust system and can complement other performance upgrades, including tuning. Converter specifications and performance benefits depend on the vehicle and exhaust configuration.
Double Braided Flex Bellows
Where fitted, flex bellows absorb movement and vibration between the engine and exhaust system. This helps reduce strain on the exhaust’s joins and mounting points, supporting durability when driving over rough terrain.
Torqit’s flex bellows use 304 grade stainless steel and a double braided design for strength and flexibility. They accommodate movement while helping protect the system from fatigue over time.
